You’ll need
guide 1.4 done, your licence number(s), your cell
Every email you send has to carry the brokerage's compliance line — your name, RE/MAX One, the states you're licensed in, and the office address. Set it once on each device and never think about it again.
Already sending branded emails from the office tools? Then the signature isn't your branding — but you still need it, and on your phone most of all. Read Why you still need this below before you skip it.
The signature — copy this, fill in the brackets
Why you still need this even if your emails are branded
A branded HTML template only covers the emails the system builds for you — a property breakdown, a market report, an offer email. Every other email you send is plain Gmail: a reply from the car park, on my way, a forwarded inspection report, an answer typed at 9pm. That is the large majority of what you send, and none of it carries the template.
It matters most on your phone, where you write fastest and think about branding least. A reply from the Gmail app goes out with nothing on it — no brokerage, no licence line, no way for the client to call you back without scrolling for your number.
So: the template is your marketing, the signature is your compliance floor. Do both. If you already run branded email, set the desktop one anyway and pay real attention to sections B and C.
Keep it to five lines and no picture — pictures turn into attachments on half the phones that receive them. Once you have a headshot (checklist item 1.2) and a Blinq card (guide 1.8) you can add the link, not the photo.
