You’ll need

nothing — this is writing, not clicking

Three pieces of text you'll paste into Realtor.com, Zillow, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and your phone. Write them once, here, then copy everywhere. This one doc covers checklist items 1.1, 1.3 and 1.6.

1.1 — Your bio: three sentences

Sentence 1 — who you are and where. Your name, REALTOR® with RE/MAX One, and the towns or region you serve.

Sentence 2 — what you did before, and why that helps a buyer or seller. Everyone came from somewhere. A nurse understands people under stress. A contractor sees a house's bones. A teacher explains things. This is the sentence that makes you a person.

Sentence 3 — how you work. One plain promise about how you treat clients.

Example — brand-new agent:

Sarah Chen is a REALTOR® with RE/MAX One serving Norwich, Colchester and the surrounding towns of eastern Connecticut. She spent twelve years as an ICU nurse, which taught her how to stay calm and clear when the stakes are high — exactly what a first-time buyer needs at 9pm the night before an offer is due. Sarah believes you should understand every line of a contract before you sign it, and she'll walk you through it as many times as it takes.

Example — experienced agent joining the office:

Mike Torres has helped families buy and sell across Worcester County for nine years and is now with RE/MAX One. Before real estate he ran a small construction business, so he reads a house the way an inspector does — and tells you what he sees, whether it helps the sale or not. Mike's clients come back because he answers his phone.

Example — career-changer with no obvious hook:

Jamal Thompson is a REALTOR® with RE/MAX One in the Providence area. He came to real estate after fifteen years in retail management, where the job was making sure every customer left with what they came for — the same thing he does for buyers now. Jamal keeps it simple: he tells you what he knows, finds out what he doesn't, and never pressures anyone into a house.

Don't say "passionate," "dedicated," "your dream home," or anything you'd find in every other bio on Zillow. Say what you did before and what you'll actually do.

Where it goes: Realtor.com (guide 1.10), Zillow (guide 2.1), Facebook page About (1.12), LinkedIn About (1.13), Instagram bio — shortened to one line (1.14).

1.3 — Your "I've joined" post

Post this on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn the same day. Pair it with the RE/MAX One "I've joined" graphic Lia sends you. Fill in the brackets.

Some news: I've joined RE/MAX One, and I'm now helping people buy and sell homes in [your towns]. [Paste your sentence 2 here — the "what you did before" one.] If you or someone you know is thinking about a move — even a year from now — I'd love to be the person you call first. My number's below. 🏡 [your cell] · [your email] [Your name], REALTOR® · RE/MAX One · Licensed in [CT/MA/RI] · 212 Route 32, Uncasville, CT 06382

The last line is not optional — every social post from a RE/MAX One agent has to show RE/MAX One · your name · the states you're licensed in · REALTOR® (or Broker) · 212 Route 32, Uncasville, CT 06382. It's a licensing rule, not a style choice.

1.6 — Your text signature

Two lines. Add it to the end of texts to anyone who isn't already saved in your phone.

— Sarah Chen, REALTOR® · RE/MAX One (860) 555-0100

iPhone: Settings → General → Keyboard → Text Replacement → + → Phrase: your two lines · Shortcut: sig. Now typing sig in any text pastes it.

Android (Gboard): Settings → System → Languages & input → On-screen keyboard → Gboard → Dictionary → Personal dictionary → + → type the two lines, shortcut sig.

Finish line

You’re done whenyour bio is saved in your phone's Notes app, your post is up on at least one channel, and typing sig in a text pastes your signature.

Now do thisTrello card → phase 1 → tick 1.1 and paste your bio in a comment; tick 1.3 and paste the post link; tick 1.6.

Stuck? Text Lia — or type error report in Claude and it goes straight to the people who can fix it.
